This cycle of jazz and related music, organised by Patrimonio Nacional for the first time in 2020, marks the institution’s opening up of a new window on culture.
The festival took place from 3 July to 12 September in the grounds of five Royal Sites: the Royal Palace of Madrid, the Royal Palace of La Almudaina, the Royal Monastery of El Escorial, the Royal Palace of La Granja and the Royal Palace of Aranjuez.
More than 7,000 people had the chance to enjoy the 28 performances included in the programme, such as those given by Ara Malikian, Andrea Motis, Dulce Pontes and Zenet, among others. Attendance numbers for each were limited as a preventive measure against COVID-19 and all the tickets sold old.
