Upper Chambers of the Royal Alcazars of Seville
Discover
In Seville, on the left bank of the River the Romans called Betis and the Arabs called the Guadalquivir, stand the Royal Alcazars of Seville, the definitive layout of which is due to the Almohad period (12th century), when the walls around it were built. Within this enclosure there were several palaces or "chambers" some of which have been lost while you can still enjoy visit to others, as is the case of the Upper Chambers.
It was inhabited by Philip V during the "Lustro Real" (a five-year period during which the Spanish Monarchy and Court were based in Seville), and by Isabella II, Alfonso XII, Alfonso XIII and Juan Carlos I and others during their visits to Seville
