The collection of tapestries has 3000 pieces, including the remarkable royal collection, consisting of Flemish tapestries accumulated by the House of Habsburg and Spanish tapestries made for the monarchs of the Bourbon dynasty. There are collections conserved in the Royal Patronages of Las Huelgas, las Descalzas Reales and Doncellas Nobles.
